Cloud Hands Walk

Join gentle arm circles to a small lateral step.

Starting Position

Stand with feet comfortably apart. Clear space on both sides. Use stationary practice first.

Step-by-Step Movement Instructions

  1. 1Shift weight right. Let the right hand rise toward chest height while the left lowers.
  2. 2Place the left foot a little to the left. Settle onto it and reverse the hands.
  3. 3Bring the right foot closer, keeping space between the feet and the hand circles small.
  4. 4Continue left for up to three steps. Pause, then return right.

Practice Duration

Three steps each way. Rest before another round.

Breathing Cue

Natural breathing. Ignore arm-and-breath matching if it feels confusing.

Supported & Seated Variation (Path A)

Keep one hand on a counter and use the other arm only. Or sit and practice small alternating circles.

What to Notice During Practice

Keep the feet separate and the shoulders easy.

When to Stop Immediately:

Dizziness, shoulder pain, or uncertain balance.

Sit down safely if you feel light-headed or unsteady. There is never any reason to push through pain or discomfort.

“Try the hands with stationary shifts first if the lateral steps make the coordination confusing.”
